First Post with A Little Haul.
Welcome to my beauty blog. If you haven't noticed already, my name is Kristen. I love pretty much anything beauty related. After high school, I followed my dream and got my cosmetology license. On my Instagram (which will be listed somewhere on my blog), I have a lot of little hauls and makeup looks, so feel free to check it out!
My first blog post is going to be a little haul I did the other day at Ulta.
The first product I'll talk about is the makeup wipes, they are the Simple Oil Balancing makeup remover wipes. I love these because they don't feel rough on your face like a lot of other makeup wipes do. They also take all the makeup off and you don't have that feeling of makeup still being on your face like a lot of wipes do. These wipes were $5.99 (They are on sale a lot at Ulta!)
Jane's bronzer is perfect for people who want to add a little color to their skin, nothing too crazy. The color isn't muddy on the skin at all. I wear the shade (Dream) and this is a repurchase. This goes for $10.
The Revlon Color Stay Foundation for Normal/Dry in Medium Beige is a product I'm very unsure about. This is the first time I've ever tried this foundation. The coverage is alright, but I don't think it's that great for dry skin. (Any recommendations for good foundation for dry skin, comment below!!) This was $12.99
Here comes all the NYX products (I'm obsessed with NYX);
The NYX Photo Loving Primer in green, to cancel out all the red in the face. It works really well and goes on nice and smooth. It doesn't get chunky when you rub it together in between your fingers. This runs for $12.99
Next up is the NYX HD concealer (I use fair). I swear by this concealer. It's amazing (why I buy two at a time!). I've heard it be compared to MAC's concealer, but its way cheaper. The one thing that stinks is
that it does go quick. The concealer is $4.99
NYX Dewy Setting Spray is the best. If you are looking for a good setting spray, this is it. It's similar to the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, but cheaper. It's perfect for spraying on your face before and after applying foundation for that super dewy look! This was $7.99
And for my FAVORITE NYX products: Butter Glosses!! I purchased the colors Strawberry Parfait, Sugar Cookie, Cherry Pie, and Apple Strudel. These lip glosses are amazing. You can pair them with a lip stick or wear them alone.
They are super pigmented which I love. The smell of these lip glosses is soooo gooood. They're so sweet smelling!
