ELF Prism Shadows
Hello!
Lately I've been really trying to write a lot of blogs and have them ready to be uploaded. I want to make some kind of schedule. Also, I've been going through my vanity and looking for products that I personally love. Just so I can share them with you guys!
Today's blog is about two palettes that I personally love and I feel like not so many people rave about them. And they are the E.L.F Prism Shadows.
Sometimes I feel like in general, E.L.F is just a forgotten brand, and lots of people have mixed feelings on them. Personally, I love ELF. The quality of their products and their prices are amazing.
The Prism Shadows are from the E.L.F Studio line. They are $10 each and there are three different palettes: Naked, Sunset and Smoke. I bought two of the palettes, Naked and Sunset.
There are six shades in the palettes. All the shades in these palettes do have shimmer, they are not matte. That's something I like a lot because majority of the palettes nowadays are matte. They are also extremely pigmented. The colors are so creamy and go on so smooth.
Naked is all of your neutral colors.
The first shade is white with some gold hints and it's perfect for highlighting. The second shade is champagne and could be used also as a highlight or even all over the lid.
The rest of the colors are great for all over the lid or crease to create smokey looks.
There's a tan shade, brown shade, darker brown, and a chocolate shade. The tan, brown, and dark brown shade are great for all over the lid. The chocolate shade is the best for the crease.
Sunsets colors are beautiful.
First you have your highlight shade and it's very similar to the one in Naked.
Second you have a pink shade. To me when you put it on your skin it kind of looks a little peachy.
Third, is a copper kind of color. It's really nice for those bronze looks.
Fourth is a beautiful orange/yellow shade. This color is perfect for summer.
Fifth is a taupe color. This is would look really pretty all over the lid and a matte taupe color to kind of smoke it out.
Last is a purple color. It is honestly the prettiest purple shade I've ever seen.
These palettes are great for traveling. They're little and there is variety. The one down side is that the mirrors fall out easily. It's no big deal because they are very small.
Over all I love these palettes and would recommend them to you guys. And I'll leave a link down below :)
