Foundation Where it Begins

Hi Ladies!

One thing that any makeup lover is always is on the hunt for is a good foundation.  Finding the perfect foundation might be one of the toughest to do, in my
opinion.
First, you have to determine what kind of skin you have. Do you have dry, oily, normal, or combination? Next, you have to figure out what color you are.  That I find to be the most annoying because the lighting at the store will be completely different from the lighting outside and the lighting in your house.  When I look for a color I match it to my wrist. It's the closest to your face, and it'll also show your undertones.

Since it's getting cold out, my skin is getting super dry. I decided I wanted to try out a new foundation because I was getting a little bored of the one that I had been using. So I picked up the Revlon Color Stay Foundation that is for normal to dry skin. Now, I'm not saying that this foundation is my holy grail.  It's ok, I'm
still not too sure how I feel about it.

PROS:
- It does give you that dewy look, but adding some extra illuminating cream doesn't hurt ;)
- This foundation does live up to their claim that it lasts 24 hours.
- Applying bronzer, blush, or highlighter is easy with this.
- The application is nice and smooth.

CONS:
- There's no pump (am I the only one who HATES that!?)
- It's not full coverage.
- The foundation will cling to dry spots.

Yes, the pros do weigh out the cons, but I'll always still be on the hunt for that perfect foundation.
