Concealer Review!

Hey girls!

Today I have a review on two new concealers that I have been trying out.  My all-time favorite concealers are the NYX HD Concealers, but lately they have been caking up under my eyes.  I’m not sure if it was the concealer or the setting powder I was using (I was using the ELF HD Powder), but I’ve changed it all up completely. 

The first concealer is the CG Smoothers Concealer by Cover Girl.  I use the color 705 Fair. The color has a peachy undertone and it’s really good for covering up those dreaded dark circles. I love that it’s like a lipstick.  It really gets into those little corners.  It’s a really smooth and creamy consistency.  I put this on before I put on my foundation.

Second is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer also in fair. To me this color is very comparable to the NYX HD Concealer in CW02. The color has a yellow undertone, which is good for brightening up under the eyes. The formula of this one is very thick and creamy.  I use this after I apply my foundation. 

Both of the concealers I blend out with my ring finger.  I feel like that gives a better application and it blends everything better, than a brush.  I got both of these at CVS and I feel like the drugstore prices have gone up so much. The CG Smoothers Concealer was $7.79 and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer was $6.99.
