NEW YEAR, NEW ME: Goals for the Year and Blog Ideas

Hello everyone!

So I know I haven't had a blog post up in a really long time. Let me just explain what's been going on with that.. For a while I was posting regularly on here, then my posts got all messed up due to me being stupid. Then I started doing Kristen's Kristmas over on my YouTube channel, where I uploaded a video every single day until December 25. That kicked my butt. Just is being the holiday's in general, it was just kicking my butt. I was working a little more and I was just constantly busy. Because of all of that, I put my blog on the back burner. I've been wanting to blog more and I want to really try and post one blog a week and try not to make all of beauty related. 

I had this blog typed out for almost a month and never uploaded it. There was just a lot more that I wanted to add or take out. But I'm back now. I truly love blogging and needed some time to actually miss it. Ya know? So here are some ideas that I have for my blog and some goals that I have set for myself for 2018.

NEW BLOG IDEAS:

While I was in the shower (I always get the best ideas in the shower. Anyone else?) the other day, I was thinking "Wow, I totally forgot about my blog and I miss it." So here we are! While I was having that thought, I also thought about the direction I wanted to take my blog in. As you know, I have a bunch of makeup posts on here. But I really want to post more personal posts on here. Kind of make this my diary.

I really want to make my blog a little more personal because it's easier for me to write those kinds of things. I would love to make YouTube videos about certain topics, but I just know it won't turn out very well. 

NEW GOALS:

For the new year I have some goals for myself and I really hope I can stick with them.

1. More blog posts

2. Try to hit ~5,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel, but I'll be happy if I reach 1,500!

3. Try to tighten up my stomach area by the summer so I actually feel comfortable in a crop top

So yeah! Those are my goals for this year. I really hope you all enjoy my blog and stick around! I promise more posts are to come.
