PRODUCTS I'VE USED UP | MARCH 2021

As you know, I love talking about beauty products and letting you know how they've worked out for me. Writing my last products I've used up post was really fun for me. It's something that I want to start doing regularly on my blog. There's going to be a lot of products this time around, so we're just going to jump right in. I'm going to give you a review of the product and a rating out of 5. Let's go!

  • Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Purifying Cleanser - I featured this cleanser in my skincare routine post and raved about it. I absolutely loved this. If you haven't tried Dr. Brandt already, you seriously need to. Start off with this cleanser, your skin will love you!  RATING: 5/5
  • Clean Skin Club Vitamin C Brightening Booster - This serum was nice. It felt great on the skin and I felt that it did make my skin a little brighter looking. Also have a love hate relationship with the packaging. It's really pretty and matte, but you can't see how much product you have left. This does have a scent that's not the best and isn't the worst. RATING: 3/5
  • Dr. Brandt Antioxidant Spray Toner with Green and White Tea Extract - Another product that was featured in my skincare routine post. I absolutely loved this toner. It really calmed the skin and also helped hydrate. I really liked that it was a spray. I think the mist just gave a really relaxing feel. I really want to repurchase this again, especially in the summer time. I think it'll be a great toner for the summer.
    RATING: 5/5
  • The Better Skin Co Better Skin Lava Magik Cleanser, Scrub, and Mask - I got this in a FabFitFun box forever ago, but I LOVED it. This is going to become a staple in my skincare. I used it every Sunday as a way to really prep the skin for the week. You could use it as a cleanser, scrub, or mask. I mainly used it as a mask. It has a sugary texture that feels amazing on the skin. This product is a little expensive, but trust me. You'll love it!
    RATING: 5/5
  • BYROE Tomato Serum - I had a love hate experience with this serum. I loved how it felt on my skin and that my skin always felt hydrated. Hated the packaging. I feel like theres at least a day or two left of the serum in the bottle, but since you have to unscrew the dropper to pick product up, it doesn't reach. I also don't think the serum loved my exfoliator. Every time I exfoliated then used this, my cheeks would sting a little. I had never experienced that before and did't love that. This serum is $150. Don't waste your money. There are better, cheaper alternatives.
    RATING: 2.5/5
  • Glam Glow Moisture Trip Omega Rich Moisturizer - Last product that I mentioned in my skincare routine blog, promise! I absolutely loved this moisturizer. It's a great, lightweight moisturizer. I feel like it lived up to it's claims and really helped my skin during the cold winter months. I can't find this on the GlamGlow website or on Sephora which is a bummer! Does anyone know if they discontinued it?
    RATING: 4/5
  • Scentworx Gingerbread Spice Body Cream - I had never tried any of Scentworx body products before and decided to treat myself to their Gingerbread Spice Body Cream. This did not disappoint. First off, it smells just like a gingerbread cookie and the scent lasts all day. Second, your skin is left feeling hydrated all day. This body cream has shea butter in it, which really helps take those dry spots away. It's also super lightweight feeling on the skin. You're not left with that gross greasy feeling some creams give you.
    RATING: 4/5
  • OGX Shea Sleek Humidity Blocking Hairspray- I swear OGX packaging is what gets me every time. I picked this up because sometimes it is SO humid where I work. I don't really thing this blocked out the humidity considering my hair would be flat an hour into my day. It did an ok job with holding curls. The only thing I really liked was that my hair never had that crunchy feeling some hairsprays give.
    RATING: 2/5
  • OGX Coconut Oil Miracle Dry Shampoo - So, I liked the dry shampoo a little more than the hairspray. It had a nice scent and let me go at least three days without washing. This is something that I would repurchase if the store was out of my go to.
    RATING: 3.5/5
  • L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Lash Primer- I have repurchased this SO many times. It is one of my holy grails and I like it more than the Lash Paradise mascara. I always do my eyes before my face, so I let the primer dry before putting my mascara on. My lashes always look amazing and so long. This lash primer really gives your lashes life.
    RATING: 5/5
